WEAVING-LAB
The WEAVING-LAB is designed to introduce you to the basic techniques and processes of weaving plant fibres and basketry, its purpose is to learn the main manipulation processes and some introductory techniques.
During the course, small pieces will be made through which we can learn different selected techniques with the aim of acquiring a broad familiarization of the craft, processes, materials and techniques. We will learn weaving, knots and ties techniques; and we will work with various plant fibres from the territory such as willow, cattail and rushes.
Workshop aimed at creators, artists, artisans or people interested and curious about plant fibre weaving, crafts and artistic creation. The program is designed primarily for adults, but children ages 9 and up can participate with an adult. The number of places is limited and the program makes an intergeneration format viable.
